A search committee reportedly considered several candidates before discovering that none had the passwords, the patience or the ability to survive ten simultaneous complaints on a Sunday morning.
The committee then voted unanimously to keep Smith. Smith counted the ballots, certified the result and awarded himself a contract extension with no known expiration date.
